Vintage WWII or Korean War Era US Naval Sword Saber with Scabbard and Portapee. 34.5" OAL, 29" Blade. Excellent condition overall, Etched blade featuring nautical, patriotic, and foliate motifs. White Composite grips with brass wire wrap. The ricasso area of the blade is stamped, "GERMANY TRADEMARK HILBORN HAMBURGER INC NEW YORK MAD IN SOLINGEN GERMANY". Opposite side stamped, "STAINLESS/ PROVED". Has the original cloth sheet, Scabbard is excellent also, top of throat of scabbard is also marked, GERMANY. This piece was manufactured from the 1940-1950's.
