Vintage 1973 Suntory “I SAY SUNTORY” Sammy Davis Jr. Advertising Wall Clock Sign
This is a large vintage promotional wall clock panel featuring Sammy Davis Jr., produced around 1973 (Showa 48) as advertising material for Suntory Whisky.
It was originally made for promotional display at liquor stores, bars, restaurants, and other commercial locations in Japan, and was not sold to the general public.
The design features a vivid blue background with the bold slogan “I SAY SUNTORY”, along with Sammy Davis Jr. holding a bottle of Suntory Whisky. A Roman numeral clock face is positioned on the lower right side.
This advertising piece is associated with Suntory’s memorable promotional campaign from the period, featuring Sammy Davis Jr. in the well-known commercial with the catchy “Chiki Chiki” phrase.
