Antique Scarce Sword and Shield Survival, Hunting, or Bowie Knife with Fixed Blade, stag antler handle, fuller (sometimes called a blood let), and Saw Top, with clear maker's Mark. The maker's Mark Clearly reads in three lines: "Sword and Shield", "Solingen", "Germany". Solingen is Famous for Producing High Quality Bowie, Hunting, Survival, and Military Knives and Antique or Vintage types are highly sought after. This particular specimen has a feature that is extremely scarce to unique in regard to combination of stag handle, saw-top, fuller, and fixed blade combination. So this may be an early special edition or a prototype. In great condition with slight wear in sots and thin patina, and the base needs some attention to tighten.
