About 30 years ago I purchased a comic book collection and the seller had a grouping of oddball collectibles. I purchased those too. This item is from that grouping.
Here's a hand made secret compartment wooden box with a round inlaid decoration. When you slide the top to one side, out pops a golden clown! Slide it the other way and out pops a golden crying baby!
1 3/4" wide by 2 1/8" high. Fine condition with no nicks or scratches.
Very unusual. I'm not sure what the maker of this box was thinking when he created it, but I've enjoyed it for 30 years!
