Vintage Royal White Thai Benjarong 18K Gold Bone China Centerpiece Bowl
Large Royal Bone China centerpiece bowl in the Royal White line, handmade in Thailand and decorated in the traditional Benjarong (เบญจรงค์ - Five Colors) style. Dense polychrome floral latticework in cobalt blue, turquoise, burgundy, green, and white, finished with extensive raised 18K gold decoration. Concentric ornamental borders continue across the interior, exterior, and broad rim.
Measures approximately 9.5 inches across and 4 inches deep. Purchased new in Thailand late 1990s or early 2000s and displayed for a period, kept in climate controlled storage, roughly last 15 years. Single bowl only, with no original box or packaging.
Condition
- Excellent, unused condition; clean and display ready.
- No chips, cracks, crazing, repairs, or other defects.
- Enamel and 18K gold decoration remain bright and well preserved.
- Has not been polished.
- Very light natural contact wear to the unglazed foot ring.
