Sale for 1 (one) USMC OKC3S Knife/Bayonet as shown in photos
These are the real deal, absolutely not the aftermarket brand or cheap imports with laser etched logos see illustration.
Retains 95% + original finish, has some scratches, smudges
Still retains the original factory edge on blade and original finish, absolutely no paint, no magic marker, no 2nd stamps, no unit markings.
Comes with an Ontario Knife Company Black MOLLE Scabbard, see last 2 photos
These have the original USMC hot forged stamped in metal "OKC 3S ONTARIO KNIFE CO" and "COMBAT USMC" on tang below the hand guard. The aftermarket, repros and the fake/clone imports have screen printed, laser etched or painted on labels, see illustration. They are also missing "U.S.M.C." on tang. TEMU was selling the fake clones and now some are trying to flip them on so look carefully for the cheap fake clones
These were not made for a beauty contest, may have some shelf wear scratches, smudges, but all have their original finish and factory edge on blade. Bayonts may have scratches and smudges from depot storage.
Sadly the Ontario Knife Co. Franklin NY manufacturing plant was sold in March 2023, has now been shut down and the last of the employees was laid off in July 2023.
Great as a collectible, "I love me Wall" fully functional as a knife, display, perfect for re-enactment, VFW/legion door prize, etc
See last 3 photos on history of the OKC-3S thanks to Homer Brett (USMC Ret)
The Ontario Knife Company (OKC) USMC Bayonet/Knife is military issue primarily to the Marines, although some other service members have been seen with it as well. The Bayonet/Knife features an 8" clip point blade made of proprietary carbon steel with a Rockwell hardness of 53-58. The blade is .200 inches thick and about 1.4 inches wide, with a 1.75 mission serration, sharpened top swedge, and non-reflective black phosphate coat. The brown Dynaflex rubber handle is ergonomically grooved to reduce hand fatigue, with a positioning access point for quick redirect of the blade position in reduced visibility situations.
The handle has an oval indentation with USMC on one side, and the Marine Corps Fleet Marine Emblem logo on the other.
