This is a vintage A.W. Faber Castell metal pencil case featuring the brand’s classic knight-on-horseback illustration and castle tower logo on the lid. The tin case is genuine A.W. Faber Castell, confirmed by the printed branding and logo.
Included is a lot of eight vintage pencils from several manufacturers: two Eberhard Faber “Fine Green” 638 pencils (one unsharpened), one Faber-Castell Polychromos colored pencil, two Eagle Turquoise Prismacolor 918 orange pencils, one Eberhard Faber Mongol 766 Hard Red pencil, and two American Pencil Co. Venus Drawing HB pencils.
These pencils are not all A.W. Faber Castell brand and are sold as a mixed vintage lot alongside the case. The tin shows a visible scratch in the printed illustration on the lid, along with general surface wear, light scuffing, and residue consistent with age. Some small dents in case but opens and closes fine.
