Because vintage vacuum-formed plastic becomes brittle with age, this original piece shows a few typical condition issues which are clearly documented in the close-up photos.Front Frame: There is a clean 1-inch vertical crack/split through the thin outer plastic frame above the fish. The plastic remains held securely by the backing, but it should be handled carefully.Cosmetic Wear: A few minor cosmetic scuffs/paint chips are present on the faux-wood plaque section, exposing the lighter plastic base underneath. These do not distract from the fish itself when hung.Reverse Side: The original cardboard factory backing is completely intact and structurally sound. It is free from major water damage, warping, or rotting. Includes the original factory hanging wire.
