Vintage Greek O. Strigos Miniature Amphora Vase with 24K Gold
Small Greek decorative amphora by O. Strigos, approximately 5" tall. Glazed earthenware vessel, ultragloss black ground, varied loop handles, small flared mouth great for a little bud as shown in photos. Extensive 24k gold trim. Polychrome marine scene with Poseidon and most likely Amphitrite.
This little souvenir was purchased in Greece in the late 90's and displayed for a few years before being put in climate controlled storage for some time along with many other travel curios. Well kept, original gold mark reading “KE / Hand Made in Greece / 24K Gold / O. Strigos.”
