Vintage Camillus New York Model 65 3-Blade Premium Stockman Pocket Knife, dating back to the immediate post-WWII era (circa 1946–1950). This classic piece features highly unique yellow maize scales with an eye-catching factory brown ribbon swirl design layout.
Tang Stamps: Main blade features the classic underlined "CAMILLUS / NEW YORK" two-line stamp. Reverse tang is clearly stamped with the "65" factory model number.Blades: Three carbon steel blades (Clip, Sheepfoot, Pen). They exhibit a heavy, authentic dark vintage carbon patina, superficial scuffs, and pepper spotting from storage and age.
Handles: Striking transparent yellow pyralin covers. Please note that the dark lines visible within the scales are part of the intended factory ribbon swirl design and are NOT cracks or fractures. Handles are smooth with normal light pocket wear and minor, age-appropriate bolster shrinkage.
The downside of the knife is the blades do not snap and there is a little bit of wobble on the two large blades. This would be a great restoration knife. As always, please look at the photos as they provide condition details. Thank you for looking.
