Very fine Cherokee war, dance or ceremonial club. Circa 1950s. Purchased in pawn shop during summer road trip out West by former serious American Indian handmade items - his favorite. Rawhide head with beads? it rattles and hand sewn. Handle rawhide wrapped around. lavishly beaded handle and has two wild turkey feathers attached with flat brass metal and has horse hair strands at base of handle. Spectacular! Will be sold in as is found condition and not returnable. Very good condition as for many years held in curio cabinet out of sun, no pets, no smoking home.
