This is a 100% authentic Vintage 1976 Case XX 4-Dot Model 6250 "Elephant’s Toe" (Sunfish) pocket knife.

This heavy-duty classic measures a robust 4-3/8 inches closed and nearly 7-3/4 inches fully deployed, featuring the original Bull Elephant blade etching.

Mechanical Condition:

• Snap: Outstanding! Both blades have loud, strong, and distinct walk-and-talk factory snap on open and close.
• Wobble: There is a very slight, honest side-to-side wiggle/play in the deployed blades typical of a vintage slipjoint of this size. The backsprings remain flush, tight, and completely free of liner gaps.

Cosmetic Condition:

• Blades: Both blades retain their full factory profile shape and have not been poorly re-ground. There are normal fine surface hairline scratches and light pocket wear throughout. Please note: There is a scuff/scratch marking (looks like a hand-scribed letter "P") near the tip of the master blade, alongside minor superficial speckling/pitting.
• Handles & Hardware: The jigged brown Pakkawood handles are intact with no cracks. The nickel-silver bolsters show light pocket swirls but no heavy dings.
