Vintage Havoline / Texaco 5-Gallon Motor Oil Can – Great Original Patina
Fantastic old Havoline motor oil can featuring bold black HAVOLINE MOTOR OIL lettering and the classic red, white and black TEXACO logo.
Marked 5 U.S. Gallons / 18.926 Litres and Texaco Inc., New York, N.Y. 10017. The can stands approximately 13 inches to the top of the can body and roughly 16 inches overall including the pouring assembly, based on the measurements shown.
This one has exactly the kind of authentic, untouched appearance many vintage garage and petroliana collectors look for. It shows decades of use and storage with extensive surface patina, oxidation, scratches, staining, paint wear and several dents. The graphics remain surprisingly strong and readable despite the wear.
The top retains its carrying handle, large threaded fill cap and pouring/spout assembly, which adds considerably to its display appeal.
