Vintage Davy Crockett promotional bust from Peoples First National Bank & Trust Company of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
A terrific piece of Pittsburgh banking and 1950s Americana. The front features a detailed portrait of Davy Crockett in frontier attire with rifle and raised “Davy Crockett” script across the base. The reverse is marked:

BANK & TRUST COMPANY
Peoples First National Bank & Trust Company operated under that name in Pittsburgh from 1946 until 1959, when it consolidated with Fidelity Trust Company to form Pittsburgh National Bank. The piece appears consistent with the tremendous Davy Crockett promotional craze of the mid-1950s.

Weight: 12 oz.
Condition: Very good vintage condition with age-appropriate surface wear, finish variation, small marks and signs of handling. Please review all photographs closely as they are part of the condition description.
Material has not been positively identified. It has a bronzed/copper-tone finish; we are not representing it as solid bronze.
