Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic vintage 1933 Weller Pottery vase in the highly collectible "Cornish" pattern. This classic Art Deco piece features a bulbous body finished in a warm amber-orange glaze, accented by small scrolled shoulder handles. The front is adorned with a crisp, raised relief decoration depicting sage green leaves and hanging berries.
The unglazed foot rim shows the authentic, clean Ohio clay base and features the original factory hand-stamped black production/decorator letters "B" and "F" used by the Weller factory during the 1930s. This line was originally issued with paper labels rather than incised stamps, making these factory ink marks excellent proof of authenticity.
Condition Report:
Excellent vintage condition with outstanding structural integrity.
* Structural: No chips, cracks, hairlines, fleabites, or post-production damage anywhere on the rim, body, handles, or base.
* Surface/Factory Attributes: The piece features a few minor factory glaze pinholes along the leaf line and small glaze pops on the body from the original firing process (pictured). These are standard manufacturing characteristics common to 1930s American art pottery and do not impact structural stability or value.
