Here's a very uncommon Coryphone B-530 horn loudspeaker manufactured in the early 1920's by Chas. Cory & Son in New York. The speaker is made of enameled copper and is documented on pages 36 and 68 of Floyd Paul's Radio Horn Speaker Encyclopedia. A Radio Dealer magazine listing for the Coryphone is pictured above.
Condition is good. Paint is original, with minimal wear evident. Horn is still nicely formed, with no significant dings or dents. Original decal is crisp and clear, with no scarring. There's a cut line visible around the decal, but this is correct; it's how the horn shipped from the manufacturer back in the twenties. The driver is original, and it's good, but the output is low.
The speaker stands approximately 24" high, with a bell diameter of approximately 14".

Overall, an exceptionally nice century-old radio horn that will look beautiful in any context, even if you don't collect early radios.
