SPECIAL NOTE: If you have sound problems in your machine, confirm that your ribbon cables are correctly positioned (pin 1 on the sound board goes to pin 1 on the CPU and so on) and that there is continuity from one end of the connector to the other end of the connector for all of the pins. It is easy to install the cables incorrectly and very common for one or both of these ribbon cables to fail and cause issues.
