Description:This sale is for the Stanley Bed Rock No. 605 Jack Plane Type 7 c. that dates from the 1920s pictured. It is in very nice overall condition.There is some very light texture on the sole that would easily lap out, or will make no difference used as is. The Stanley lever cap is proper for this era plane. The near full length cutter has an earlier V logo dating from the teens. The proper Rosewood handle and knob are nice. Lots of original japanning. No structural issues, cracks, chips, or the like. A great user that is ready to go back to work. The Bedrock design with its machined / mated frog to sole feature with its double pin locking design that allows for precise frog adjustment with the plane fully assembled has been copied by many contemporary makers including Lie Nielsen.
