Set of four vintage Alfra Alessi divided fondue plates, made in Italy from high-quality 18/10 stainless steel.
Dating from approximately the 1970s, the design is generally attributed to Italian designers Carlo Mazzeri and Anselmo Vitale. The beautifully functional compartmented form is characteristic of Alessi’s classic Italian modernist tableware from this period.
Each round plate has six practical sections: one large compartment, four smaller compartments and a circular centre section. Originally intended for fondue or Bourguignonne dining, they are also ideal for appetisers, sauces, tasting portions, snacks or complete meals.
