This very special vintage 1984 Laura Ashley “OakLeaves” home decor fabric is made in the charming green and red colorway.
A rare surviving continuous length of thisdocumented early Laura Ashley design, it features stylized red oak leavesagainst a deep forest green ground, alternating with cream/gold zigzag stripesand distinctive navy-and-white striped bands. The small-scale repeat has thewonderful English country character associated with early Laura Ashley interiorsand works beautifully with cottagecore, traditional, heritage and country-housedécor.
This fabric dates to 1984, before Laura Ashleybegan printing identifying information along these selvages. The plain,unprinted selvages are correct for this period of production.
