Rare Limited-Edition 1976Schulmerich Liberty Bell Replica – Serial No. 69
Offered for sale is a largequarter-scale Liberty Bell replica produced by Schulmerich Carillons, Inc. ofSellersville, Pennsylvania, in commemoration of America’s 1976 Bicentennial.
The cast-bronze bell bearsthe Schulmerich/Bridesburg Foundry identification and is individually markedSerial No. 69. It faithfully reproduces the Liberty Bell’s historicinscriptions, famous crack, wooden yoke and decorative supporting structure.
The bell is displayed on animpressive full-height wooden pedestal featuring a 1776–1976 Bicentennialmedallion. The complete display stands approximately 62 inches tall and wouldbe ideal for an Americana collection, museum, library, bank, veterans’organization, historic property, patriotic business or institutional display.
A comparable Schulmerichquarter-scale bell is preserved by the Breathitt County Public Library, whichdescribes that series as a limited-edition Bicentennial production.
