Original 1906 gelatin silver photograph by Frank H. Nowell, showing an excursion party on the Bering Sea.
Dimensions of the photo are 9 3/4" x 7 5/8". Slightly trimmed and mounted on a heavy backing of the same size, probably done quite a long time ago by professional framers.
The photo is in excellent condition and is guaranteed original. There is light silvering visible in the blacks when held at an angle. My scan came out with a bit more color than how the original looks in hand.
