Rare 1983 McDonald's French Fries Wood And Paper Wow For Sale

This is a highly unusual McDonald's toy or ad piece, I cannot figure it out. The french fries are wooden, with some red in it to simulate being fried or perhaps to show ketchup.

There is a McDonald's copyright barely visible on back, near bottem. See picture.

It is only 1 1/2" wide, really small!

This is a rare piece of McDonald's memorabilia.
