Rare 1980’s NYC Wall Street Journal “Wolf of Wall Street” Era Store Wall Clock
Can you imagine Jordan Belfort, Ivan Boesky or Bernie Madoff walking into the local newspaper shop to buy the Wall Street Journal to look at daily market data and this is the clock they would’ve seen on the wall at that time!
This is not a clock that you see come up for sale too often! This clock was found in a small newspaper/smoke shop in Queens that had closed.
The clock works well using a quartz movement with a AA battery. The convexed plastic bubble front is in decent shape with some scratches (the worst scratch is in the third photo). The metal frame has consistent light rust pitting from age and use. The masonite back is intact with some staining.
It measures about 17.5x15 inches.
This clock is a a great piece of NYC/Wall Street history!
