Very rare 1950s vintage 1" McDonnell Aircraft F-3H Demon screw back pin in good condition.
The F-3H Demon was the US Navy's bridge fighter between the Banshee and F-4 Phantom, which was developed from the Demon to become a legendary combat jet. The Demon had a troubled service history in the 1950s due to the underpowered Westinghouse J40 jet engine. The engine was later replaced but the weight growth of the aircraft prevented extended supersonic performance.
This rare pin is an amazing aviation collectable from the post-World War II military jet age.
