Retired Pennsylvania Highway Sign - "WITH TRAILERS OVER 45 FT IN LENGTH"
Offering an authentic retired metal highway sign, likely from Pennsylvania. The sign reads "WITH TRAILERS OVER 45 FT IN LENGTH", in black text on a white reflective background. It measures 18"H x 24"W and has some wear in the lower right and left corners, adding character (or patina, as I like to call it :-)). Plenty of photos are provided to show the exact condition.
This sign was part of a selective exclusion traffic policy, restricting trucks with trailers over 45 feet in length on certain state routes for safety or logistical reasons. Signs like this were posted by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT). These are very rare in the aftermarket, making this piece both unique and collectible.
