RARE Antique Porcelain Nippon Morimura Chocolate set pre 1921 W/G Floral Print For Sale

This Very Rare Antique Porcelain Chocolate pot and matching cup set is hand-painted Nippon or Limoges-style service featuring a tall pot with a lid, matching cups, and saucers with floral ribbon motifs and gold gilding. It's design features White porcelain body decorated with hand-painted floral and ribbon bands accented with gold trim on the handles, rims, and finial. Commonly associated with late 19th to early 20th-century European or Japanese export porcelain (such as early Nippon or French Limoges styles). The backstamp is a “Hand Painted NIPPON” makers mark, which dates the chocolate set to between 1891 and 1921. The logo features a green wreath enclosing stylized letters. This specific stamp is an authentic "RC Nippon" mark issued by the Morimura Brothers, the founding company that later became the world-renowned Noritake China company. "RC" stands for Royal Crockery, a designation used for their fine export china lines starting around 1911. "Nippon" is the traditional name for Japan. The McKinley Tariff Act of 1891 required all imported goods to be clearly marked with their country of origin. In 1921, the U.S. government updated the law to require the English word "Japan" instead, meaning any authentic item bearing the "Nippon" stamp was produced prior to 1921.This set is in absolutely beautiful shape with no flaws whatsoever that I found!
