Beautiful retired Department 56 Christmas in the City building featuring the Sutton Place Brownstones with detailed brickwork, storefronts, wreaths, awnings, stairways and architectural details.
Introduced in 1987 and retired in 1989, making this one of the early pieces from the Christmas in the City collection.
Approximate measurements:
9 1/2” wide × 6 1/4” deep × 8” tall
Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition with a noted damaged/missing detail. On the middle front stairway, the small decorative gate/railing and the post that would hold it are missing/broken. Please see the close-up photos for the exact condition and location. There may also be normal minor wear consistent with age.
The rest of the building displays beautifully with wonderful architectural and storefront detail.
