This Beautiful Cedar Branch Piece was Hand-Selected and Carved for Extraordinary Contrast, leaving parts of the Outer Bark, while also Revealing the Impressive Grain of the Famous Cedars-of-Lebanon.
There are also 3 Original Cedar-Wood Cones, including their Original Stems. These Cones can fit into the Special Holes which have been Drilled in the Central Branch Piece. There are actually 4 Holes, each Drilled into one Corner of the Bark Part of the Branch. You can See those Holes in the Bark-Corners (See Photos 2, 4, 6, and 8). These 4 Corner Holes enable you to Select which Side of the Branch Piece you like best to be the Front.Look over the photos to Compare all 4 Sides.This is a RARE Antiquity 4-pc Set that a Lebanese family brought back to Northern Texas after trips to their home-country during the 1940\'s to 1950\'s.It was Hand-Carved by Lebanese craftsmen, using Choice Wood from a Cedar-of-Lebanon Tree.Any New York City saleeer would value this at $250.00 (perhaps more).The Grain Variations are really quite Eye-Catching, and youcould probably never find any nicer example of 1940-era Lebanese workmanship. (Lebanese craftsmen are the direct-descendants of Phoenecian Artisans who settled in Lebanon)
