Contents with short history

1) Cessna 310 (early straight‑tail, c. 1955–1957) Twin‑engine light transport that launched Cessna’s postwar twin line. The 310 became a staple of business aviation and air taxi work, famous for its sleek tip tanks and performance.

2) 1960 Cessna 180 The 180 was Cessna’s rugged taildragger workhorse—favored by bush pilots for its power, load‑carrying ability, and short‑field performance. A classic backcountry airplane.

3) 1957 Cessna 402 An early cabin‑class twin designed for commuter, charter, and air‑taxi service. The 402 line evolved into a backbone of small‑community airline service and cargo work.

4) 1961 Cessna 180 Later‑production 180 with refined systems and styling. By the early ’60s, the 180 had cemented its reputation as one of the most capable piston utility aircraft ever built.

5) Cessna 172 (straight‑tail, c. 1958–1962) The world’s best‑selling light airplane. Early straight‑tail 172s represent the first generation of the Skyhawk, transitioning pilots from taildraggers to tricycle gear.

6) Cessna 150 (fastback, c. 1959–1963) Cessna’s primary trainer for a generation of pilots. The early “fastback” 150 introduced thousands of students to basic flight, pattern work, and solo milestones.

7) Cessna 182 Skylane (early swept‑tail, c. 1960–1963) A more powerful, higher‑gross‑weight evolution of the 172. The 182 Skylane became the go‑to family and cross‑country Cessna, with strong climb and load capability.

8) Cessna 180 (late straight‑tail, c. 1957–1959) Another view of the classic taildragger, highlighting Cessna’s marketing focus on utility, float, and bush operations in the late 1950s.

9) Cessna 210 (early strut‑braced, c. 1960–1961) The 210 introduced retractable gear to Cessna’s single‑engine line. Early strut‑braced 210s combined speed, altitude capability, and useful load for serious traveling owners.

10) Cessna 205 / early 206 (c. 1963–1964) High‑wing, fixed‑gear utility hauler with large doors and big‑cabin volume. These aircraft became staples for skydiving, cargo, and remote‑area operations worldwide.

11) Cessna 150 (swept‑tail, c. 1964–1967) Updated trainer with a modernized tail and refined details. The mid‑’60s 150 remained the backbone of many flight schools and flying clubs.

12) Cessna 172 (swept‑tail, c. 1964–1967) Mid‑1960s Skyhawk with the now‑familiar swept fin. These aircraft represent the “classic” 172 look that many pilots trained in through the 1960s and 1970s.

13) Cessna 310 (later swept‑tail, c. 1958–1961) A more developed 310 variant with a swept vertical tail and refined nacelles, reflecting Cessna’s push into higher‑end business and charter markets.
