The Art Deco skyscraper, completed in 1932, stands 34 stories and 450 feet tall — the tallest capitol building in the United States — and was the tallest building in the South at the time. The card back notes the building cost $5,000,000 and features over 30 varieties of marble and stone imported from Italy, France, Spain, Greece, and Belgium.
