PRESIDENT ULYSSES S. GRANT HAND SIGNED 1873 MILITARY APPOINTMENT / DOCUMENT For Sale

Desired Army / Military Appointment / Commission dated January 13th, 1873 hand signed by former Civil War Commanding General and then current President, Ulysses S. Grant (in brown ink) and countersigned by the Secretary of War, William M. Belknap onvellum document (in very nice condition) measuring roughly 15 x 19 inches and handsomely professionally framed (all UV and archival safe materials) to overall size of 24 1/2" x 28" . Because of the reflective surfaces, the framed document was a challenge to photograph so any white flases are light reflections and not defects. The document itself is also very fresh and not stained or damaged as many are when found.A rare post Civil War Infantryman promotion to a Second ieutenant and very nice example with nice hand signatures by both President Grant and the Secreary of War (all as seen).Item has been inspected and guaranteed to pass formal PSA approval and of course also Beckett, or JSA. I also authenticate Presidential related autographs here in the Washington DC area for last 47 years and am a longtime seller of Presidential signatures for over 27 years here on .
