This is a rare set of authentic, vintage photographs of PRESIDENT JOHN F. KENNEDY -- PLUS FIRST LADY JACKIE KENNEDY & ROBERY F. KENNEDY AT JFK'S GRAVE IN ARLINGTON personally owned by and seemingly photographed by Eveyn Lincoln, President Kennedy's personal secretary of 12 years. One photo was taken while the President was alive and the rest were taken after the tragic events in Dallas. The photographs vary in dimension from 3 1/4" to 5 3/4". Nine of the photos are printed on KODAK paper and all but one have a glossy finish (with the one having a matte finish). Exposure and clarity varies.The centerpiece images include a color photograph of President Kennedy onthe South Grounds of the White House with the white balustrade and lawn visible behind him, two color photographs of Jackie Kennedy and RFK at the gravesite, plus one color-photo of the gravesite without Jackie or RFK in frame. Some photos capture the original eternal flame, plus the white picket fence initially erected on November 25, 1963. Some photos are dated January 1964. Photos are in generally excellent condition, showing wear consistent with age. Some photos have a minor bend or fold. All of the 60-year old photos are sold as-is. Also included is the original White House envelope Evelyn Lincoln kept the photos in, plus a folded scrap of White House stationery with the words "such sadness" handwritten in pencil on the back.
