Postmarked December 16, 1909 from France to Kleinbettingen, Luxembourg. This card depicts a longitudinal cutaway view of La Provence, highlighting her luxury fittings and technical specifications.

🛳 Historical Significance:
Launched in 1906, La Provence was one of the largest and most luxurious liners of her time. She served the Le Havre–New York route before being requisitioned during World War I as La Provence II. In 1916, she was tragically sunk by German U-boat U-35 in the Mediterranean, with the loss of over 1,000 lives. This postcard represents both the golden age of transatlantic travel and an important piece of maritime history.
