Maker: No makers mark appears on this elegant cobalt net cup and saucer set for 4. replacements.com identified the maker as William Roberts but we could find no other example of this pattern by that maker and several other makers produce similar patterns, so theset is being sold as unmarked by an unknown maker.
Design: It's in a classic cobalt net pattern with gold trim on pure white porcelain. It would complement many similar patterns by Russian and other makers.
Condition: The set is new and unused and in the original white box.
Two sets are available. The first set's box is in excellent condition. The second's has significant age spots from long-term storage.
Size: The cups are 3 3/8 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches tall. The saucers are 5 3/4 inches wide and 1 inch tall. One cup and saucer weighs 11.2 ounces. With the box and packing materials, the set weighs 3 pounds 4 ounces.
