A counterfeit knife is made to fool you and make a fool of you, just like counterfeit money. They are pretty much a worthless gas station knife.
A clone would be a somewhat copy of the knife but the maker will put his own brand on it and proud to say he made a copy. Might be better…

The smoothest sharpest knives I have ever flipped. I’m 63 and carry 2 Microtech knives daily. 1in the morning taking my dog for a walk and the other for EDC type things. After slightly over a year no visible wear. Blows me away at have resilient the finish is. I don’t carry this particular knife but like I stated above smooth.
Their knives are expensive but they are SWEET!!
