A LARGE vintage hinged wooden box featuring abeautifully detailed relief carving of a female tennis player on the lid. Thescene shows a woman in a classic tennis dress and hat, mid swing with a racketin hand, approaching a net with a ball nearby.
The carving has nice depth anddimension against the dark-stained wood. Rectangular shape with a hingedlid.
Measures approximately, 11" x7" x 3 1/2" deep. Pictured with a quarter coin for scale. Weighsapproximately, 1 lb 12 Ounces.
