Jake Hoback Paraclete, Proof Of Concept #1, Zero Gravity Bearings, 270 Lock, HRD For Sale

The Paraclete is an unconventional lightweight fighter that's impressively well designed. This specific Paraclete Prototype #1 has some history with Hoback. It's the single most ambitious custom Jake has made. It's not perfect but it's not too far off and there's nothing else like it. It was made as a proof-of-concept to put together all of Jake's innovations into a single piece. This was the knife he had open on his show table when he introduced the model. It's the only Paraclete made with his Zero Gravity Bearing System. It's a very tight action that works in conjunction with the HRD Hoback Roller Detent. The Hoback 270 Lock (the lockbar insert protrudes into the blade tang and makes contact on 270 degrees of the tang). The 270 has only made it onto the custom Paracletes. This proto has a slight bit of play. The chamfers of the frame has his Stoneage finish throughout and the ti is gray/green anodized. The blade and frame has complex polished and matte blasted carbon fiber inlays.
