Vintage Griswold Large Block #3 709 "B" Skillet.
This pan has a letter "B" below the 709 and is significantel lighter than other 709 pans I have seen.
I currently have a second "709" listed with a weight of 1lb 9oz - In comparing the two there is a noticeable thinner wall to the 709 "B" pan listed here. I can't guarantee the accuracy of this but my experience with Griswolds I have owned is that the earlier pans wer lighter in constructioim as seen in the older Erie pans - I would be happy to hear from anyone who can clarify this weight and letter question.
A beautiful pan in excellent condition. Great seasoning and appearance - Sits flat.
Very fine cooking surface.
