This is an authentic NASA Spaceflight Awareness (SFA) Team Award coin, and it contains metal flown aboard Space Shuttle Discovery during the historic STS‑114 “Return to Flight” mission (July 26 – August 9, 2005). These coins were never sold to the public and were only distributed to NASA employees, making them exceptionally rare and highly sought after by collectors of spaceflight artifacts.
