Collectors ALLEN ELISHEWITZ #1 MPF 1 of 1 PROTOTYPE Folder. Very RARE For Sale

This super-rare, one-of-one piece, is a highly collectable, valuable & sought-after, vintage folding knife, completely hand-made by the famous custom knifemaker, ALLEN ELISHEWITZ, of Texas. One of his earlier knives, this is THE original (#1 of 1) prototype MPF (Mission Prototype Folder). He custom-made different prototypes of MPF folders for Mission Knives that were similar, but with some differences on each one, and numbered them all. I have seen numbers 6 & 17 and there are 27 total, known. This extremely well-made knife has a four-inch bead-blasted CPM-154 blade with a combination edge, housed in a black, lightweight black Micarta handle, that has been sculpted, formed and contoured. This knife speaks for itself, as an Ellishewitz knife should. Very collectable and prized folder!! 9.25\'\' open, 5.25\'\' closed, 4\'\' blade. Lightweight, military-spec design and make by Allen. Only collected and handled, opened & closed, never used. Solid and tight. Great seating and detent, as made by Ellishewitz. Engraved by Allen on one side, \"MPF 1 of 1\" & \"The P. Schultz Mission\" and the other side has his early maker\'s mark & name, which the \"E\" is rubbed some and looks like an \"L\", from the tightness of the blade against the handle, opening & closing. Collectors, this is one you want! Museum piece and one to brag about, that Elishewitz made for Mission Knives as his first proto for them.
