Chinese Export 18th C. Qianlong Grisaille & Gilt Porcelain Cabinet Plate 7.75\" For Sale

Chinese export porcelain plate dating to the Qianlong period, circa 1750–1775. The center features a grisaille (sepia) harbor landscape with sailing vessel, figures, and buildings within a hand-gilded cartouche. A gilt qilin (mythical creature) decorates the upper rim, with additional gilding around the scalloped edge.

The reverse is unmarked, typical of many Chinese export porcelains of the period.

No cracks or repairs observed. Rings when lightly tapped. Light age-related wear.
