The Benchmade 535BK-2002 is a discontinued Blade HQ exclusive version of the full-size Bugout, and one of the more interesting factory configurations Benchmade has produced. Instead of the standard S30V / Grivory setup, this version gets a premium CPM-20CV blade, textured gray G10 scales, and bright green anodized accents.
CPM-20CV is an excellent premium stainless steel with strong edge retention, high corrosion resistance, and good overall durability. Combined with the Bugout\'s thin profile and extremely lightweight construction, it makes for a genuinely capable EDC knife without adding unnecessary bulk.
The gray G10 scales give this version a noticeably more solid feel than the standard Grivory Bugout while keeping the knife light. Green thumb studs and matching green standoffs give the 535BK-2002 its distinctive Blade HQ-exclusive appearance. The AXIS Lock remains fully amofferextrous, and the reversible mini deep-carry clip allows discreet right- or left-hand pocket carry.
