Ayrton Senna Signed “Ayrton” Marlboro Empty Cigarette Box — 1993 Suzuka F1

This Marlboro cigarette box bears a handwritten autograph attributed to Ayrton Senna. Strictly speaking, only the name “Ayrton” is handwritten on the box, not his full name.
In 1993, when Formula One was held at Suzuka Circuit in Japan, a person who was involved with the event had Ayrton Senna personally sign the Marlboro cigarette box that the event staff member himself had been smoking.
To be clear, this was not a cigarette box used by Ayrton Senna. It belonged to the event staff member who personally obtained the autograph from Senna.
That individual happened to be a friend of an acquaintance of mine. Through this personal connection, I received this autographed Marlboro box directly from him.
Since I received it, I have kept the box inside another box, wrapped in ordinary food plastic wrap. I have never removed the box from this wrapping, and I am intentionally offering it in the same wrapped condition in which I have kept it.
After more than three decades, the plastic wrap has become noticeably brown and yellowed with age, reflecting the passage of time. Remarkably, however, the Marlboro cigarette box itself has retained its original shape and color remarkably well.
The wrapping has not been removed, and the box has not been cleaned, altered, or restored. The photographs show the actual item and its current condition.
Please carefully examine all photographs before purchasing, particularly the condition of the aged plastic wrap and the cigarette box visible through it.
This is a unique piece of Formula One memorabilia with a personal provenance dating back to the 1993 Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka Circuit and a direct connection to an individual who obtained the autograph personally from Ayrton Senna.
