A charming antique Staffordshire Blue Willow cow creamer, made by William Kent and likely dating from the early 20th century. This freestanding piece features classic Blue Willow transferware on the body and lid/cover, with hand-painted whimsical "Staffordshire eyes" and gilded accents on the horns. The William Kent factory operated in Longton, Staffordshire, and frequently utilized historic 19th-century pottery molds to recreate classic Victorian figurines, animals, and dogs.
The creamer measures approximately 4 inches tall by 6.5 inches long by 2 inches wide. Stamped on reverse with a black printed backstamp reading "STAFFORDSHIRE WARE KENT MADE IN ENGLAND" wrapped around a Stafford knot was specifically used by William Kent (Porcelains) Ltd during this early 20th-century period. Excellent condition, including its original lid/cover.
