Antique vintage general store counter display case / box / cabinet advertising SUNSET SOAP DYES. Made of wood. Ca 1920.There are 24 small compartments for the soap dyes and each one has the name of the color on it. All lettering is original and still in good condition and legible.The paper label on the back mentions " This Case is the Property of the North American Dye Corp. Mount Vernon N.Y."Dimensions: 18" x 14" - 7" tall. Weight: 5 1/2 pounds.The case is in very good condition with its original patina. A few minor superficial scratches may be seen, as to be expected for an item over 100 years of age.The wooden back is still attached but has separated slightly on the top part of the case because the two nails holding it in place got rusty over time. They could be easily replaced, but we wanted to sell this antique case as found.
