1979 The Muppet Show Kiln Craft Mug Set of 4
Fantastic matching set of four vintage English ironstone mugs featuring Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, and Rowlf the Dog. The bold, colorful 1970s graphics display beautifully, with each character presented in a coordinating color palette.
All four mugs are marked on the underside in two ways: “MADE IN ENGLAND” is impressed into the ceramic, while a printed Staffordshire Potteries Limited / Kiln Craft Tableware backstamp identifies them as Made in England, English Ironstone, Dishwasher Safe, with production code S5.79.
The mugs are in excellent vintage condition and appear to have seen no use. They are exceptionally clean, with no chips, cracks, crazing, staining, or graphic wear. They were stored together in what was likely their original box, but the box had deteriorated and is not included.
