Vintage 1970s Great Lakes commercial shipyard engineering document bundle. This item is an authentic master schematic print detailing the early construction planning layout for a series of four 1000 foot regional lake freighters built at the historic facility in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.
This planning document was drafted during the initial layout process and records tracking milestones for the following classic vessels before they received their final official christened names:
- Hull 716: Originally recorded as Belle River (Later renamed the Walter J. McCarthy Jr.)
