these are 12 very rare early original views of havana, harbor, ship and a couple of street scenesall panoramic negatives, taken by burton holmes in 1900.this is a lot of 12 original negatives, all on panoramic negatives, they measure 3 1/2 x 11 inches. All these negatives came together as a lot, (there are other panoramics but from different areas), some are marked on their edge, havana 1900, and they also came in a couple of original Burton Holmes stamped envelopes as pictured one of the envelopes is marked ""uss maine in harbor"" The images are very well taken and generally super sharp,and my pictures of the images do not make them justice, they are super nice, fantastic negatives and images. Along with the negatives and also included are a few contact prints made from these negatives, but not all negatives have their prints.
(the negatives included here, are indeed actual film negatives, i have digitally inverted them to a positive image to better appreciate the image, so you will be receiving these 12original negative films!) I believe some of the ship and island views are from his trip there and might represent other points of interest, so can't be sure, but again, some of the negatives are well marked.
