"Up for sale is a highly unique piece of 1985 pop culture history. This is an original 1985 'New Coke' aluminum can featuring a severe factory production printing error where the lithographic press ran dry of ink, leaving a translucent, streaky 'ghost graphic' wrap showing the raw aluminum base underneath. I am the original owner and personally opened this can back in 1985. The stay-tab mechanism is completely intact on top. It features the factory ink-jet stamp 'K 19 1985' on the bottom dome. The can features some authentic storage dents and a small spot of old adhesive residue as shown in the photos, but remains completely structurally sound. An excellent, rare crossover addition for soda advertising and manufacturing error collections alike
